At Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park just outside of town on the Kerrville highway.

Friday and Saturday 8 am to 5 pm; Sunday 8 am to noon. Free admission.

Address: 432 Lady Bird Drive

Wish Life wasn't getting in the way of my fun. We've driven the '51 down to Luckenbach a couple times and stayed at the Full Moon Inn. Fredericksburg is always a big part of the trip. Lots of vintage iron in the area for sure. Great part of the country.

Moparguy, Yes, I have read about you making the trip down here on a couple of occasions and have always thought you’re a mighty brave guy to drive that far in one of these old trucks. I can’t drive mine any further than to Fredericksburg from San Antonio because my backside can’t take it any longer!! It gets numb! LOL Hats off to you for making the trip in your old truck. I go to this swap meet every year and really enjoyed it, but the downside is that it is really hot. Late July in Texas is not a good time to be outdoors! I always put on lots of sunscreen, wear a long sleeve shirt, and a wide brim hat. Finding old truck goodies always makes me forget the heat. Well.... mostly.
