Is anyone familiar with the Carlisle Chevy/GMC Truck Madness on June 21st and 22nd in Carlisle, PA? I received a free registration email from ClassicParts.com and thought it sounded like an interesting event. It would be a long road trip, but my wife and I like road trips.

Thanks,
SLC

Long trip for sure...hotels/motels in the local area get booked up very quickly for any Carlisle event.

I'm sure there are camping sites in and around the area. Pennsylvania is well known for its camping. Go to Google...type camping in and around Carlisle, PA. You just might be surprised.

After doing some research, it appears that what I posted above is just a small part of a much bigger event. Here is a link that provides much more detailed information. It shows the Chevy/GMC Truck Madness part of the show as well as details on camping and numerous other events.

Im planning on going. This event used to be known as the GM Nationals now called CHEVROLET Nationals. The truck Madness is something new this year and with more classes to choose from. This year there trying a two day show instead of three. Saturday being the judging day and Awards all in one day.
