Hello,

Where can I find the hood braces and spring /post latch for a 1950 truck? I had them all once but the body who was painting the truck "lost" everything except the hood itself. Also anything else that I might need for the hood aside from the trim and badges.

Thanks

You can purchase the hood components from Chevs of the 40's ,

www.chevsofthe40s.com ,see part numbers 3686040 and 3686039 for the Hinges. You probably need the hood hinge bolts too.....

You can buy the spring / post from Classic Chevy , www.classicparts.com , part numbers 38-602 and 38 -651 .

Good luck on your rebuild.
