Garwood dump body help

I have a old Garwood 9 ft dump body with a single cylinder, scissor kit . I'm trying to repurpose it on a newer GMC truck.
The truck has a belt driven pump on the motor.
I'm having trouble finding any kind of specifications on just about everything.
Is the pump too strong? Hose routing , cylinder port issues
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I see one glaring error- - - -those two water pipe fittings at the base of the cylinder are a blowout waiting to happen. The rest of the hoses and fittings are hydraulic lines with a 3K PSI rating or more, and those galvanized parts might be rated for 250 PSI at best. I'd suggest getting some stainless steel or high pressure hydraulic fittings to replace them. Do you have any idea of the relief valve setting on the pump? With a cylinder the diameter of that one, high pressure won't be needed to do a lot of lifting.

I'm not allowed to open your files but do have a 1928 Chevy dump truck with nine foot dump bed that says WOOD hydraulic bodies on it. Probably merged with another to become Garwood. If it is similar I can snap some shots of the lift mechanism.
