Neat project. Good luck with it.

Thanks Tiny,
I used it quite a bit to haul lumber and rocks for building projects. Brought home a lot of treasures from farm auctions in it over the years. My kids loved riding around in it when they were young. It is kind of like a big suburban.
Clutch started going out and parked it. Always kept it licensed and registered to keep the city code enforcement off my back. Actually shorter than a lot of 4 door full sized pickups. Always planned to repair it and drive it some more when I retired, my plans have changed since I got my 1937 Coupe Express project.

There was once upon a time when I was looking for a project like that but now I'm too old & too broke to finish it if I even started it. If they'd stop selling my winning powerball tickets to other folks maybe I could afford it. grin

Would you be interested in selling that one original passenger seat. We need seats for a 54 model Chevrolet short bus exactly like yours. If we can get at least one from each side, we're going to try to have the other six made that we need. Thanks

I want to keep the seat with the bus. I gave one seat away years ago. I'll check the boneyard to see if a couple of seat frames are still there.

Hello, spanky,

You might want to call Leon’s near Culpeper, VA about seats. He might be willing to ship them to you?

Google listing for Leon’s listing. I cannot get his website or Facebook link to work.

Good Luck,

Tim

I've never known Leon's to pull any parts or do any shipping...you pull the parts and he collects the cash.

He now has a sign that says there's a $25.00 fee for "lookers"...
