Is there a site or source to search a VIN to see if an old truck you used to have is still on the road?

I've tried a few sites, but not much luck with the old VIN since it isn't the newer style.

And yes, I want to be legal searching.

Thanks

If, you're looking in TX and you had a LEO buddy he's likely your best source. Also friend at the revenue office could possibly be of help. I strongly suspect the suggested help areas are not what you had in mind, but I wouldn't rule em out.

Good Luck

No, this one would be in North Carolina.

In WA, a cop can run an "Any And All", but I think it only works for full size VINs.

It gets info on any and all owners.
