am I the only one that has thought of welding the front cross sill to the front bed side instead of the 9 bolts? is there any reason to bolt it?

1951 chevy 3100 short bed frame off resto.

You never know if it will be nice one day to be able to take it apart. I’m building my second box for an AD and I’m always thinking (as best as I can anyways...): if I ever had to take this apart would I be cussing myself out?
