Both trucks appear to be deluxe cab with two tone interior (blue on one and green on the other).

Sheet metal looks real good.

Very good value for a start of an "original" restoration?

The engine is from 1958-1962. Presumably, that engine worked OK with that Hydra-Matic (they have to be a "matched-set").

- If you have to stomp on your foot-pedal starter, either you, or your starter, or your engine, has a problem.
- The 216 and early 235 engine are not "splash oilers" - this is a splash oiler.

The problem is, do you restore both or restore one of the two.
If you restore one, which one, the Hydra-matc truck or the manual truck?

That Hydra-matc truck has the specially arched toe board.

I`m partial toward the Hydra-Matic , I had one in High school. A 1954 all original ,drove it everywhere. As I recall it shifted good and not bad on the freeway as well.
