I have noticed that the square bodies starting in 73 to around 83 are the what are selling more now .
I have a 71 and owned it for going on 15 years and have not seen so many of the square bodied trucks for sale as I have lately,, any ways out west my way and around Porland Oregon .

Do Blazers count? Have three 70's in the shop right now plus a 70 long wide GMC 1/2 ton. One LS3 powered, one LT1, one 350 and one 250 I6.

The hotrodders are building the “Square Bodies” and the restoration guys are building the ‘73 to ‘81s. At least that’s the way it is around here.

I have a 67 C10 I have had for 38 years and a 73 K10 I have had since it was new. Both have been great trucks.

My first truck was a 71 c10. that was back in 1976 I think. Bought it so I could tow my boat. With Michelin tires, a topper and 300 pounds of concrete blocks it could go through snow over the bumpers and it was 2 wheel drive.

Just never know what some of us have in our garages ..Huh?..nice collection of some of the toughest old trucks ever made.in this posting . Blazers and Surburbans .Longhorns Big boy Coes all keepers..

You guys have some darn nice rigs ,like to see them ,are any of them in the photo section of this forum? I might give it a go and enter mine in the 71 C-10 area ,

Where I lived below Portland Oregon before moving here to around Boise Idaho .I rarely seen a truck or car from the 70ies as daily drivers on the streets . But here in Idaho I can see at least one or two each and every time I go to town. While driving around the streets here I ran into a guy who has a 53 Surburban he has almost got done ..I took some pictures of it ,

I see quite a few Chevy trucks from the 70ies ,, lots of them still work truck,, but some are real nice too.. see lots of camper specials

I was looking for a longhorn but that wish went away ..thx for sharing them with us guys,,got any ,more ?

Idaho, I think you would enjoy browsing through the Gallery Forum and looking at the hundreds of photos there. You probably already have but if not, it will be worth the look.
