Had some health issues gonna have to change my tranny on a 55.1....while the bed is off, I thot I’d do something about the stock gas tank. Contemplating a 47-48 gas tank. I’d like to hear from anyone who has put one of these on a later model AD truck including any fitment issues...

The brackets which bolt to the frame are hard to come by. I don't think that they are reproduced. You will have to cut a hole in the bed side for the filler neck.
