I went, first time. There were a lot of vendors and a huge crowd. I did not see anything there I couldn't live without. $5 just to park and $10 to get in. At least it was something to do that day. I've been to the Jackson, Kalamazoo, Monroe and Fowlerville events. Those I enjoyed.

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like I didn't miss much, and probably don't have to put it on the calendar for next year... I have been to the Jackson, Monroe, and Fowlerville meets before, but never to Kalamazoo....might have to check it out...

Going to "Cruisin Hines" next Sunday August 25th in Westland, MI. It is a great show/cruise with tons of vehicles on display/cruisin. Hope to see some other Bolters there. Let me know if anyone is going. http://cruisinhines.com/--Tom

I'll be going to the Hines Cruise, weather permitting. Have been to 3 or 4 Hines Cruises in the past. GREAT TIME!!!! I'd rather cruise Hines than go to the Woodward Dream Cruise. I've attended the Woodward Dream Cruise for the past 15 years, not so this year. Out of every 10 vehicles cruising Woodward, 9 of them will be spectators in modern vehicles. The only vehicles allowed at the Hines Cruise are the ones that are 25 years or older and you don't have to pay to park. I'll be there with my 39 Chevy Stake Truck, green with black fenders.
