Has anyone had success replacing the bench seat in a 1966 Chevy C10 with a "more up to date" bench seat? I am looking for different option ideas for a bench seat that would slide, as well as, a latch that would allow the back of the seat to fold forward. All i seem to find is just the option for the latch for the entire seat to slide forward.

Any help on different yrs that might work, or some mods that would work as well.

Thank you,

‘92 Chevy single cab 60/40 with pull down armrest. Slides forward/back and seat back folds forward. Only had to drill 2 holes the other 2 were right on.

I second Martin. In my opinion, those are the best bench seats GM has made. I have them in my AD 1 ton. Yes, they are a tad too wide for the old cab and nearly touch the doors, but boy is it comfy. You’ll love one in your 66. Plus, the fabric isn’t too shabby either if you get a decent color match.
I think that seat years run are from 88-94.
