I'm putting a S10 rear end in my '46 truck...i want to keep using my 6 lug Artillery wheels ..what are the best 5 lug to 6 lug conversion plates seems to be a lot of choices so i'm hoping to find experience on this site

Most use the 6 lug S10 4wd or the Colorado/Canyon 6 lug. The early Colorado's had drum brakes and later ones disc brakes.

There are no "best" conversion plates- - - -only "bad' and "downright deadly"!

4wd S-10 and GMC clones have rear axles slightly wider(2" each side I think) which should look better, too.

found out there is lots more mods to have to be done that I can't do myself so i have gone back to changing the gears to 3:55 . I bought the gears and the install kit so i can take it out myself and just have to hire a rear end man to actually install the gears so i can put it all back together
