Distributor was working and the. There was an electrical short somewhere and it started smoking a little. It smells like burned electronics it might still work but I dropped an HEI in so I never texted it. But everything else is great. The shaft and gears are all in great shape. The coil bracket sits next to the distributor and bolts the the intake manifold I think. Coil is vertical right next to the distributor on the driver side. I'll get pictures up later today.

Hey, Spartan... does the distributor still have it's aluminum number tag on it, and if so, the number? The number should be something like 1111023. Here's a couple example photos (SBC dist's) to show what I'm talking about regarding the number tag. Can you post a few photos of the distributor, including with the cap off? Thanks!
