Have a 37 with a outside bracket that is held by 2 bolts, and the antenna is held on with a bolt from the bottom. Anyone know if a replacement antenna is available? Thanks Bill

I think all the truck parts vendors like Jim carter sell them. I used one on my 38 Master. I think mine has two standoffs and I am not sure about what you mean by the bolt at the bottom.

I want to keep my original bracket. Here's a pic of it. The chrome nut on the bottom is the bottom of antenna and is threaded

I am not familiar with that style. Was it offered as a truck accessory in 1937? I know a side mount was not offered with the Chev sedans in 1937.

I am by no means a expert on accessories as this is my first restoration
It very well may be a add on. Not even sure if I will be putting a radio in at this point, just trying to stay ahead of things. I seem to remember that repair antennas were made years ago that were held on with a set screw. Will keep looking. Thank you for your help with this. Bill

If you could post another photo of the rest of the mast, it would be of great interest to me because I haven't seen that style before and I am by no means an expert on these things.

The rest of the antenna is gone. The rusty shaft sticking up is the antenna.
