Hello i have a 48 Chevy 3100 that i am working on. Hope to get some info on the engine, I am keeping the old inline 6 and not replacing it with a V8

Welcome to the Stovebolt and congrats on your 48 pickup. The AD style is very popular and parts are available from several sources.
Post questions about your engine in the Engine Forum and the guys there will be glad to help you out.
