Second wheel painted up, third wheel removed. Tried that darn tight front left again, got one nut broken free but other five still stuck, got another broken ratchet and breaker bar to replace...
Oh and found that the gas cap has gone MIA.

52vff,

Are the left side studs "left hand threads"?

Have not done anything to the 37 lately, its sitting so I can see if the old alternator was the cause of the battery drain.

Put some heat to it.

I took my 51 four blocks down the street to the High School where we had a 25+ car, neighborhood show. I met some nice guys and saw some very nice rides.

Cops and Cars for Kids show in Oviedo, FL. The kids love The Little Blue Truck books and my truck represents them well.

Got the paint going on the ring area of the third rim.
Mike B, looked really careful, and no L. So tried counterclockwise and got one nut, but others still frozen. Gonna hit em with more oil, soak time, and probably a bigger bar, 3/4 drive.
BIG CHEVY 3600, heat will be last resort as paint on nuts, studs and especially rims is in great condition.

But I'm always open to more ideas.

This is my first post on this thread. Thought I would join in. Had my doors painted a couple weeks ago and now working on my box and bed.

I wrapped up the torque tube, rear differential , rear axle and rear brake overhaul and replacement project today. Now I need a couple helpers to lift this entire assembly off my bench and place on to the springs and under the frame of the truck. Any takers out there?
