Old couple at admissions desk: don't you have a paper form to fill out with a pencil? Admissions girl (AG): no we use a tablet so information can be directly downloaded onto our computer. Old couple: we don't know how to use that. AG: this girl will help you. Helper girl after obtaining name, age(84), address, and birth date. What is your email---don't have one. What is your I-phone so results can be sent to you---don't have one. what is your cell phone---don't have one. What is your land line #---what's a land line? Okay, your home phone---XXX. Mr. Jones you're not very high tech are you? Mr. Jones---if it can't be fixed with a hammer I don't need it. Waiting room crowd applauds. I was there for a sonar scan of my kidneys and was instructed to drink two quarts of water before scan; laughed so hard the two quarts was nearly in my shorts.

Officer calls the dispatcher: l’m at the residence where the shooting was reported. An elderly lady has shot her husband for walking on her freshly waxed floor. Dispatcher: did you arrest her? Officer: not yet, the floor’s still wet.
