That would be about 70 cents a litre in Canadian funds, but we pay about .50 more per litre than that. The problem is we don't have any refineries it seems. No body wants to invest in a refinery because fossil fuels are on the way out and an investor would not get a return on his money..... that's what they say. I'm just a consumer.

$1.319 on the island. Last time I put gas in the Caprice it was $1.549. Don't drive very much. Put new tires on exactly 3 years ago yesterday and had them rotated today. I had done exactly 8000 kilometres or 4900 miles in 3 years. Only drove 95 miles on the truck last year due to family issue but normally do about 2500-3500 annually.

I have a new car, 13 months old with only 6500 miles and would have had 1200 less if I had not driven it to KC because the truck was laid up. Today was the first day out of the last 4 that even got dressed, had to go get a haircut. Gas at $2.14 a gal. today.
