Hello everyone! I’m new to this website so I’m just familiarizing myself with the structure of the website. So I had a few questions after test driving my truck. I noticed that the carburetor will backfire (more noticeable when in park) even when the engine is cold. I tried putting a spacer with no better results. Any ideas? It’s a 4 barrel Quadra jet on a Chevy 350. Thank you! And HAPPY NEW YEAR?? 🎊🎈

Try posting in the engine forum or the HiPo forum. Only Texas guys hang out here. Everyone goes to the Engine forum. Also stop by the Welcome Center and introduce yourself.

Deon,

Go to the engine forum like previously stated, list truck info to include engine/carb set up and then post your questions!
