What is the serial number?
Where did you find that number?

There are some GMC big truck people here.
And, you might want to ask on OldGMCtrucks.com

- The 216 and early 235 engine are not "splash oilers" - this is a splash oiler.

Interesting project. What are your plans for it?

please post a pic of the front hub (center of wheel). By the pic from the back corner, it looks like it may be the 6 bolt stud piloted wheel pattern? Do the covers o the front wheel bearings bolt on?

Welcome to the Bolt!
Interesting bus you have there. Do you know who manufactured the bus body?
Looks like another Chevy bus in the background.
Be sure to check in at the Big Bolt forum on this site. Lots of good info there on the bigger trucks, and that would include busses.

I got a pair of those new Memory Foam shoe inserts. Hasn't helped much- When I walk to another room, I still can't remember why.

Bus is a model 370, had the 347 pontiac v8 but no motor in it now. 242.5"wb, serial was on a plate above drivers side wall. Made in may of 57. No idea of coach mfg yet.

Hi Busguy,
The body of your bus looks very similar to mine, which is a Carpenter.

Gotta watch out for those Left Handed threads... they will either stymie you or break off.
