Gents,

I am trying to find the original style door gaskets for a 51 3100. I purchased some and they were not the original style. Not the glue on king but the kind that fits in the channel

None of them weer glued on. The '47-early '49 were held on by long, curved steel retainer strips and many screws. The late '49-'55.1 were slid into a c-channel.

Are both wind laces for the early and later cab models the same or available? (Is it the same contour for for the steel retainer and the other for the c-channel?) I have the early cab model. That steel strip is rusted and mangled to the hilt. Wondering if I can find and install C-channel on to an early cab.

Tom,
I have no clue!

Does anyone have a picture of the correct orientation of the cab gasket for door?

Chris

Bulb touches the door, flat side touches the body.

Thank you! That is what I thought. Figured that I would ask before I get **** that I spent hours putting it on and had it backwards.
