Well I falling behind a little on keeping folks up to date on the Reunion.
So here is a fluid schedule.
FRIDAY.
As suggested by John by email.
Friday during the day to visit the KC Car Museum.
I have not been there but it looks interesting.
Just southwest of KC.
https://www.kansascityautomuseum.com/Vicki and I hope to be at the park by mid Friday afternoon, to set up Stovebolt HQ and unload whatever truck we bring.
Help sitting up HQ, will be welcome with a firm handshake.
Leave the park about five, head to the Alderson's for BBQ and a private showing of their collection.
All Bolters are welcome.
Starting about 6pm but early birds are welcome.
Drive in the gate and past to house, the shop will be down on your right.
Patti Alderson
31806 E. Truman Rd
Buckner, MO.
Back to the hotel and gather somewhere, have a few cold ones and the upper Stovebolt officers planning meeting, (all are welcome to attend) then bed time.
SATURDAY
The big day.
Get to the park, hopefully about 9am and activate HQ. (depending on what happens at the meeting the night before).
Sign in at HQ and then meet and greet till noon. (parking coordinator will be drafted).
11 am to noon
Mike Wahl does his flair tool demo and wheel cylinder bleeder removal demo.
If anyone has a few old rusty wheel cylinders that can be use for the demo, bring them.
Noon to 2pm
Freetime to walk around and enjoy the show.
Get a snack at the vendor's (the Boy Scouts have great dogs)
2pm
Meeting starts with a group picture and we could use a photo buff to stage and take the picture.
In fact, we need as many cameras taking pictures as possible. (If it is not Documented, it didn't happen).
Start the official Stovebolt meeting, after the group photo. (Meeting Chairman has yet to be decided, Ron comes to mind, if he doesn't help setup HQ).
This is where it really get fluid.
3pm
Burnout contest that a lot of folks enjoy.
4pm
BBQ dinner and auction at the show pavilion.
5pm
Show wraps up, but we don't have to leave then.
Hang around and visit then head back to the hotel whenever, to have some cold ones there.
Told ya it will be a busy, fast moving day!
Sunday
Hopefully be at the park by 10am.
Start breaking down HQ about noon and headed home mid afternoon.
2pm is the awards presentation.
Suggestions to the schedule are very much asked for!!!
Then, driving home with the sunset to our back, and big tired smiles on our faces!
(Well, Vicki will sleep on the way back).
Boy, I am tired of typing.
