Took my 1941 Chevy GI to a car show last Saturday. The weather was near perfect! Around 1000 vehicles showed up to the event, and a good time was had by all. Below are just a sample of the fine Chevy trucks that showed up. The first image is my 41, and the second is a very fine 53 owned by another fellow "Stovebolter". Sorry for getting my finger in the last image...guess I was a little too excited.

I got a pair of those new Memory Foam shoe inserts. Hasn't helped much- When I walk to another room, I still can't remember why.

Hey buddy,- I agree the Popular NC show was great! Enjoyed seeing you and your wife again. Your ‘41 GI truck is spectacular. Among the many nice viewers, visitors and discussions during the day, I think I may have saved another nice original truck from the wrath of the chopper! See you next year. PS for some reason I cannot open your picture files.

Hey fellows...is the Popular event the same date every year? Is there any pre-registration required or just show up?
Thanks

- If you have to stomp on your foot-pedal starter, either you, or your starter, or your engine, has a problem.
- The 216 and early 235 engine are not "splash oilers" - this is a splash oiler.
