Box floor height 40 chevy1/2 ton?

Hello,
I have been trying to find the height of bed floor on 40 Chevy 1/2 ton? I am new to the Stovebolt Forums so i hope this is the correct place to ask. Thanks

I’ve read that the box sides from 1940-1953 are the same (different fender holes) so it should be the same as an AD truck. My box floor from the wood to the angle at the bed side top is 14”. (+/- 1/16”)

If you look at page 25 that Gord posted it shows 14” bed depth from the wood to bed angle and 16” to top of angle. My AD measures out the same.
