Well said my friend. Attitude, attitude, attitude will win the battle every time.........besides, I have always hated the word "can't".
Looking forward to following you on the journey.

Note the lower left corner and read about posting pictures. If you still need help go to the IT Forum. Guys there will take you step by step..

Welcome! Ditto to all said above. But also -- if you have a question, go ahead and ask it. Around here, we care more about getting you the info you want more than we care if you extensively searched our forums to make sure no one has ever asked that same question before. We try to not be that kind of site.

Especially COE's ... everybody loves a COE discussion. smile And pictures ... smile ask more questions so your post count goes up and you can attach some images of your prize.

Thanks,
John

Wasted time fooling around trying to post pictures. Its probably simple if I wasn't simpleton. This computer stuff is enough to drive me crazy. I'd rather be in the shop smashing my thumb with a hammer.

You now have 5 posts so you have full access to all Stovebolt.com has to offer. If you are using a “real” computer you should be able to post photos. If you are using an iPhone or iPad your out of luck until someone figures out a workaround. 🛠

Heres a link I made for a member 5 years ago

There have been updates to the stovebolt site so the tables will look a little Different

In the video we are using photobucket as a picture hosting example

I donot Recommend photbucket any more. Try google photos or flickr to host your photos, or others

Also in the example use the second method. Hyperlink

hello, open die forging,

Welcome to Stovebolt.com

Do not feel bad about having trouble posting pictures.
Did you look at "Posting Images in the Stovebolt Forums" (in left side menu)?
That explains how to attach images (in the forums that allow attachments).

There is also the "The Stovebolt Forum Operators Manual" that has a section on posting/pictures, but I think that might be a little out of date?

If you are using a phone or a tablet, you will most likely not be able to to use the "image attachment" feature. You would need to be able to access a "clickable" list of images in a file directory on your device.

Also, most photo-hosting sites (like Photobucket) have made it quite inconvenient to display hosted/stored photos (and they load the viewers' screens with advertisement windows).

Be patient, keep trying, and keep asking questions.

ODF -- Have you read the Image Posting info (link is in the left hand column of this page)? We worked very hard to present that info simply, clearly and accurately, so if it is still hard to understand, I need to know so I can improve it.

Just tested it -- seems to be working. BTW, this is a picture of Hambone getting jiggy with the clutch alignment tool

I'm sure it is no ones fault other then mine. I took the advise and checked out the bottom left and did the best I could to follow directions. You can't make it simple enough for the puter illiterate unless you'd do it for me. Once I figure it out I'm sure it will be something stupid I'm doing. The problem is I have very little free time to sit at the computer. When I try to attach a file it say Files can be no larger than 500 Bytes. I tried to edit the pictures to make them smaller. Crap I don't even know what Bytes mean? I'll have my wife try to assist me but I'd rather eat worms or be in the shop smashing my thump. Thank for all the welcomes and offers of help.

I hear you

Not easy and the resizing adds a second burden for trying to attach pic
Todays pics from camera phones are quite large

Easier to use links in my view

Good luck
