Dad and I always liked Apaches, but my neighbor had this 1956 3600 they used for a farm truck, I spent all my paper route/ busboy money on parts and welding and tires, took an engine and transmission out of 71 impala, 350, automatic transmission. I did all the work myself. Then went off to college, it has been in the barn at my parents house for 20 years, I just turned 38 years old. Really excited about getting it going, just put on front disc, new master cylinder, fired it up, fixed a rear seal, license and registration up-to-date. Ready to get out there and show it off. Of course it is primer gray :-)

Wow, now that is a nice intro. Glad you saved it all those years and I'm sure you have many memories (first date?) that were made in that truck. Congrats on your work.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
