Anyone on here have a 47-54 GMC 450, or 470 series truck, with 5 spd. tranny, that can tell me what type, PTO, they have. I'm looking to find one for my 470 series COE, with Clark 205V tranny, but don't know which PTO to look for. I have several, but they are all from Medium Duty Chevrolet's with SM420 4 spds.

Mines a 50 Gmc450 Firetruck. Little bit different, driven off the back of tranny and drives the fire pump. Pto-waterous St. Paul B046

Very possible Bill. John, if you can indeed do that for me I'd appreciate it. Especially if there is some type of tag on it. I've got to get it right the first time. I've got a friend of mine, and his crew swapping over the Holmes Wrecker from my 48 Chevy COE, over to my '52 GMC COE, & they want to get this resolved, before the Wrecker swap, begins.

I have a Clark 5 speed(no tag) that came on an early '60's 60 or 70 with a DD, I'll check.

No joy on a tag, but I did find this cast into the housing -- "LS1 Arrow Gear Co."

Hope this helps. Any chance you can join us for Homecoming this year?

Thanks Ed. John,for doing that for me. That's a Arrow Brand pto, Gives me a Brand name to do a search for. Looks like it's mounted on the right side of the tranny ?

Looked tonight, found MN, of course on the bottom, Chelsea. Will get MN next few days.
