Hy Guys, I had a call from a truck club member this morning, he was looking for a torque tube rear axle for an early 50s Chev car, unfortunately I only have truck rear axles. Anybody know where there might be one?

Mainland or island? If island I can ask a couple people. The wreckers up in port alberni may be worth a call, I can't remember how far his stuff goes back. I got stuff for my 62 acadian there. Too bad they crushed everything at Horne lake, there would have been a half dozen of them there. That place was a goldmine. Theres a place out in the interior that would likely have one, but I don't know if he sold or contact info, a freind of mine has his # though (https://www.google.ca/amp/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.4049999 ) out in Tappen BC. If you want leads from the victoria area feel free to pm me his contact info and I'll pass on any leads back... if it were me I would put a wanted ad on the used / kijiji / craigslist sites...

Hy 40_chevy, thanks very much for the reply, I don't think the gentleman in question is confusilator savvy to search and I don't know if his health is good enough for a trip to the island, but I will contact him and see what he would like to do.
