Chris,

Congratulations! I don't know how you guys did that in the cold! Everything looks great on your truck!

Mike,

We used the garage to block any wind and then the sun was still shining! Wasn't too bad. The truck actually start right up as soon as we put the plug wires onto it. I think we were only outside for 30 minutes and that included sweet's timing by listening.

Chris, congrats. Couldn't have had a better helper. Just think cruising weather is only about 80 days away!

......that color on your truck sure looks familiar. (is it Bizen Sunset Orange?) ....maybe we had this same chat a while back??

Actually.... my painter screwed up! It was supposed to be sunburst orange (new GM color). He originally didn’t shake the can enough and color came out wrong! Needless to say, painter was fired (numerous reasons) and I kept the color!

Got it Chris. The sunset orange is what is on my panel and danged if yours don't look like its cousin..... my color is from a Mitsibushi Eclipse 2006. Similar colors for sure. Looks nice on your pickup......but don't tell the painter I said that. LOL

Putting a plug into the temp sensor hole on the 216 as a temporary fix until I get a new gauge. I would be on the road if it wasn't going to rain and be so cold. I guess that means that I can do all my checks and install windshield wiper motor while it is cold outside. See you all on the road very soon!

Engine is now running! No observed leaks! Sounds good, too bad weather will get bad tomorrow. Only need a valve adjustment and a few other minor things. See you all on the road soon!
