OUR NEW INSTAGRAM Site........"stoveboltphotos"

Good Morning Bolters,

I have created an Instagram site for us. I am a novice instagram user, however, an avid 20 year old instagram posting daughter promises to be a great resource for us. Instagram is a great way to see what others are doing, and what they have accomplished.

For those “instagram savvy” do a search and follow “stoveboltphotos” on instagram. That’s us. “Follow” stoveboltphotos.

If you would like your photo featured, send a photo and a caption to me at stoveboltphotos@yahoo.com. Once received I will upload your photo and description to our instagram site. If your a “texter” send me a PM with your information and I will give you a number to text to.

Lets hope this takes off. Tell your friends, tell your kids. This will get interesting.

Out of respect for stovebolt.com, our first post will be of “Charlie” the flagship, the legend, and the Patriarch of all things Stovebolt……….

If you have an iPhone or iPad, get the “app” through the App Store via the link:

https://itunes.apple.com/app/instag...tionsDirectoryCountryPage.modal&mt=8

I assume the same App exists for google, phones, droids and the rest.

Create a profile for yourself. Follow “stoveboltphotos” and away we go.

Best, “Amtrakjoe”

PM me with questions.

Joe, you might want to do a duplicate post in the Announcement Forum.

Well even as technology challenged as I am, I managed to wind my way through all the carp and sign up. I will reserve my opinion for later after it’s been up for awhile.😐

Sorry. I don't do phones, apps, or any of that stuff. I do this, and that's about all.

Tim,

somehow it does. Yes. but the photos are kind of clipped. On Instagram they are full sized.

Thanks for the link.

Joe,

It no longer works for me: "Not authorized to view"

I do not take it personally. I guess you need an account and need to login.
Can users/poster set-up/display a photo for anyone to view?

I am lost - not an uncommon state for me.

Is this the Stovebolt.com Instagram site/page?

It looks like the last post was made on Aug 31 2018?
It can be directly linked-to like this?

The only advantage I see is non site members can like or comment on photos of the trucks. I look at it maybe once a month.

To look at pretty pictures.

You can follow (subscribe to) people/accounts that post content that interests you so that you see it when you open the app or visit the Instagram site. You can also follow hashtags- Example: somebody might post nothing but pictures of their food or kids or something else equally un-interesting to me, so I may never even see their account, or would not follow them if I had seen it. But when/if they post something tagged #stovebolt or #classictruck or some other hashtag I have set up the app to follow for me, then I see their posts with the hashtag that interests me, without having to follow that person's account and see all the rest of their stuff.

I follow a lot of hot rod, classic truck, vintage hot rod photo, bomb lowrider, Fox-body Mustang, and themed accounts, and don't have a whole lot of people I know in real life because I use Facebook for that.
