anyone ever owned one of these, thinking about buying one that seems to be in really good condition... going to need one just to keep the 8 or so acres mowed.. a friend had been using our land to let his cows roam thru.. always kept ever thing up so we never charged him anything, he is 89 and in bad health, advised that he has sold all but 7 of his herd and would not need to use the pasture so.. going to need a good old mower..not going to spend big bucks for a new one or newer. just some thing that will do the mowing..

Gas, diesel, transmission, live power with 2 stage clutch? Would be similar to Ford 600-800 series. Issues with 3 point hitch? Look it over thoroughly.

Good little tractor in the same class as a 9N Ford. Will do a 5ft brush hog as long as you don’t let the grass get 3ft tall. Be sure to get a override clutch for the PTO. 🚜

Ad lists it as a 3 point hitch. With all the implements that’s a reasonable price.

thanks I corrected the hitch, was asking what concern I would look for, looks like the mower is hooked up correct according to the pix.. dont undestand about over ride clutch for pto.. would it not be just what ever it is now rick wanted to know if it was a 2 pt clutch, dont know... it is what ever it is.
I had a Ferguson to 30 yrs ago, it was a good little tractor.. this looks about the same except a little newer and I guess that was when it became a Massey..Ferguson
so far no response.. always happens, when you see something you want and ready to buy.. no answer back.. I am ready to buy now

The override clutch fits on the PTO shaft and the implements drive shaft fits onto the clutch. It is meant to prevent the rotating implement from moving the tractor forward. It’s a safety thing.

At the very least you will look marvelous on it. Other than that I have nothing else to contribute.

wonder what kind of mileage it gets................Ron, I like you being honest
I have an idea, why not start a post on why folks use those emoticons or what ever you call them.. and stay away from my tractor post.. this is serious, I am trying to make a smart buy..

A 3-point hitch needs to go up and down smoothly and with decent amount of force. Either it will or it won't. If it don't, it has a bad seal or two. I am going to be digging into one that stopped working in a week or 2. I can let you know once I get in there. I hope that provides you with enough information to help you so that I can add this. Do you have a big KMA cowboy hat so you will look like a boss while you drive it? (I won't use any emoticons out of respect ) oops. Oh well... Your Pal.
