Socket Breaker

This is the latest version of the Old International truck folks website :

https://oldihc.wordpress.com/

At one time it was much more involved and had a forum and everything, but it was hacked and for some reason they did not have anything backed up.

Still lots of good IHC truck info there, and links to more.

Ive got a few binders in the hoard. a 69 1/2 truck that was the worst sorriest truck I ever used. A metro van that is good storage it has slelves and bins built in it. and a 1970 loadstar dump truck. 304 four speed and two speed. currently licensed and insured. I intend to load it with cull logs and dump them in piles at my house. then chainsaw them up at my leisure for fire wood as needed this winter. not a big fan of going to the woods cutting splitting and loading by hand a pickup load at a time . and them unloading and stacking and covering up. then having to handle it again to put in the stove shed. And the outdoor wood stove like to consume wood. back to the binders. Ive owned a couple of scouts. I still have two slant four engines. and I have 14 of the letter series farmall tractors. My dad had a 64 short bed Pk. slant four three speed. 456 no spin rear end. Toughest truck I ever seen We teenage boys couldn't tear I up. Couldn't pop the clutch. hyd clutch release was slow to engage. loaded it to heavy and broke the rearend housing. The body was dented and rusty. dad took the slant four and three speed and put it into a really nice 63 ford unibody short bed truck. then put the no spin gears into a 56 ford pickup rear end and installed that. Used that until1995 and he bought a brand new truck. Gave the 63 ford to one of my sons. He pulled the 4 cyl and installed a 460 automatic. So I still have the slant 4 engine.
