From the desk of yer president...

The TRUTH: Chuck Connors obtained permission from Napco Man to work on the tv show 'The Rifleman', in addition, Chuck Norris calls our own NAPCO MAN, 'Sir!' There's only about 8 hours of daylight left, just sayin'.

A little known fact - Chuck Connors played in the Major Leagues. And not "A league of their own"...

FYI, engine was painted gray a week ago, not traditional though. Anyone available for assistance putting her into her new home on Saturday ? I am willing to supply smoked meat and beer to anyone available. Any takers?

Chris

Chris, sounds like you are making forward progress again. Good for you. Smoked meat, beer and wrenching on an old truck? Thats a very tempting offer. Unfortunately I will be sequestered to the home base again this weekend taking care of the wife's hay burners while she is away. So I am out.
Good luck on the install, hope all goes well.

No worries sir, might as well but beer in the saddle bags and "smoke some grass" as you haul @$$. Miss my horses.

If I were only closer. But we’d be throwing in either a GMC 270 or a GMC 302. None of this Chebby nonsense....time for a overdrive transmission too. Just sayin’

Gmc, one step at a time. Need a running truck that I can enjoy, then upgrades to make it better after that.

Chris - good luck with the installation. I will place my wrench in my pocket for good luck. Lets hope that no bolts get stripped, no fingers get pinched, and she fires up strong. Joe

Wish I could be there for the swap, but extra busy here this weekend with a timber framing project.

Good luck
