Hi folks.

This is my old iron that I drive all the time :

Matraca - 1965 Chevrolet C10 long bed step side

It is beat up and rusty, but it is mine and I like it.

You view the Gallery & Projects section to view various photos I have taken of many different areas when asking questions online. Also I have taken photos along the way of a few fixes or projects I have undertaken over the years.

2003 to current...

Check it out if interested.

Take care and happy wrenching,

-W

-30 = constant [positive (+)] power (usually wired directly to car battery)
-85 = coil ground (wired to the negative (-) battery terminal or any grounded metal panel in the car)
-86 = coil power (wired to the control source. could be a switch, or it could be the car's IGN or ACC circuit.)
-87 = switched [positive (+)] power output. (when the relay coil is powered, lead/pin 87 is connected to lead/pin 30)

Woogeroo, I'm going to make my own relay and fuse accessory panel using your painless relays to switch on power to the accessories.

Thanks for the contribution.

Hiya fellow Stovebolters...

so, after diagnosing charging issues... ordering and installing a new voltage regulator...

I had to replace my heater core again, so I took lots of photos.

Here is the latest tech article if you are interested in checking it out.

In the past month or so :

had new exhaust put on by the professionals.

had a oil leak with the nylon hose for the PSI gauge, the hardest part of fixing that was getting to it, it is next to the distributor on a SBC and sorta under that indented area in the firewall.

Noticed the diff. was leaking, I *think* from the gasket cover... so I replaced it today, still have to top off the fluid. The instructions on the goop box said to let cure for 24 hours... so here are a few in progress action shots:

3 pics - rear axle differential gasket cover replacement - in progress shots

Happy riding and wrenchin' folks,

Today I filled up the differential... pump pump pump... then I put the bolt back in the side there.

Took it for a little test ride.

Yay.
