ODSS Brothers, I had a fantastic time today! The 1948 Chevrolet 3100 was treated with royalty with Mike, Dave, TJ, Chris, et. al., preforming diagnostics to determine what was causing the turn signals to not work, and then doing a complete tune up (first since I acquired the 1956 235 motor). Finally, Mike assisting with how I can get my brake light back. I truly appreciate Dave showing my son John how to do a proper tune-up. Thanks guys. Until we meet up again next year, happy motoring with your vintage stovebolt trucks! V/r, Nick Cavallaro, Bel Air, MD

Other than missing a few trucks and owners, we had a great time. Owen did not want to leave and asked to stay another day! Thanks everyone for making this a memorable experience for Owen and I. See you all at homecoming (with my truck running!).

Drive home was most pleasant. Solo, keeping up with RT 17 traffic which was light. Windows down. Truck did great there and back. Thanks Billy for Commandant-ing all weekend. Weather could not have been better.

Another Great Tri-State Antique Truck Show. There were a few regulars that couldn't make it and they were surely missed. Jim (53 green 1-ton) had an emergency at work that changed his plans. That emergency lead him on a late night bonsai run for parts that coincidentally took him right down 81 past the fair grounds . Luckily he was able to stop in and visit with us before he had to get back on the road. Special thanks to George for bringing a range box full of chow with him! The move of the the show dinner from Saturday night to Friday messed up those plans but I could almost taste those tatters that he made a few years back. Next year we will get that all worked out. Seems like everyone contributed in one way or another to make this one great. HB cooked breakfast for everyone one morning, Preisdent Cosmo brought donuts everyday, the Philly boys (Joe, Dave, Pops and Bill) all contributed to the dinner. Chris and Owen brought supplies including a ton of coffee, always important. Chris should get the tuff luck award for the problems he had that kept his truck at home. I know his percerverence will get that truck there next year. For the big dinner Saturday night, Josh and Janine made a big ol pot of Gumbo and Artie supplied his yearly anticipated chili. As always, thanks to my two camp assistants, Artie and Mike. Camp Stovebolt wouldn't be what it was without those two guys. Nick (NJC) was generous to bring a bounty of truck supplies from his work for giveaways. Nick we decided, since we didn't have a regular assembly after the big dinner that we will save that stuff for Homecoming. Thank you sir! I'm sure I missed something or someone so thank you to all that were there, hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Great weather, great food, great friends...sounds like a Bolter weekend to me! See you next year!
Oh and by the way, if you didn't know, the all time truck record stood at 305. This years total was just over 320 I believe.

Don ... Billy, Nick, George and Chris did a pretty good job of description -- I've have an excellent mental portrait painted for me of the weekend. Besides, actual pictures would probably just get people in trouble ... Wow, I missed a good one -- fun times, good weather, lots of trucks ... figures. At least we beat Cincinnati ... Beat Army! I prefer to think of my misfortune as an expensive learning experience. Truck or no truck, I had fun. My truck will be at homecoming AND Winchester next year. Might need to request a class at homecoming to change my rearend gear so I can go slightly faster.
Thanks again for the fun, Owen cried and didn't want to leave so you guys made a lasting impact on him.
Chris
