I can get your eyes on a 57 Panel. Some folks cross Panel and Suburban. Nearly completed project. Black and straight as an arrow. Cragar SS wheels. Don't recall if it was a 283 or a 350. The only thing remaining to be done is the interior behind the seats.

I'll be making of video of it and listing it on my site come spring, but anyone serious can look at it at any time.

Jeff

Jeff I always enjoy your youtube videos,I hate that happened to your (ugly) dump...I had the same thing happen to my 41 1 1/2 ton let's say it went down the driveway backwards and I tried to get in it I got the door open then well I decided to let it go. It went down and embankement backwards and I thought I was going to have to have a big ole wrecker to bet it out but I hooked 2 chains to it and had my uncle use my 90 burb 4x4 and me in the truck and together we got her out, luckily the only damage was to the rear of the bed it busted a piece of wood from the bed it didn't even bust the tail lights...she's listed in the big bolt gallery as a 42 under my name Randy Cox waaaaaaaaaaay over here in VA...

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

There is NO way to contact you. No email address and you are over the PM limit because you are new.

skd12 shows over the PM limit because he is a new member and has not posted the minimum requirement of 4 post so he can send PM's. Once he makes another post his pm ability will be unlocked and not show he is over the limit.

There is a Facebook page called "Chevy & GMC Panel Truck Builders International". On that page there is a nice original looking 1955 GMC Suburban for sale for $7,500.

The sheet metal looks to be good on that 1955 Z-series GMC Suburban (it is not a later 1955 X-series, 55-57, GMC Suburban).

If it has all the original seats and all interior trim parts, that might be a good price/deal.

A 248 would have been the original engine, but a 270 or 302 should bolt-in easily?

If you have to stomp on your foot-pedal starter, either you, or your starter, or your engine, has a problem.
