Just got a 54 3100---frame is not good. what can I replace the frame with (S10, ) or what ?

Unless you can find an original frame the S-10 frame is a reasonable choice. There are many outlets for kits to do the swap. Also look at Thread #1 above for a list and discussion on this very subject. Good luck with your build.
