I have recently acquired a '52 2-ton truck and am working on getting it road worthy. I am having trouble locating rebuild parts for the Bendix Hydrovac system. I am mostly looking for new seals, gaskets and any other rubber or leather parts that are in the unit. Can anyone direct me in any direction on this?

I have a '50 model that was also equipped with a hydro-vac - I bypassed it. Stops just fine without it.

Food for thought.

DS in VA has done a very good job for me, 276-322-3119, Jeff is the hydrovac gentleman, very knowledgeable, reasonable prices, unlike some others.

Series III Hydrovac's are cheap and plentiful. For about $200 + core you can have a working unit. Power brakes are to nice to pass on.

What are differences in series? I ended up sending unit to John Stuart Brakes in Stoney Creek as I found no parts to do it myself.For other Canadians this may be an option. They wouldn't just sell parts, and I wasn't sure what the Canadian 3 ton model would cross to.
