Purchased a 1957 Chevy 3100 1/2 ton that had been sitting for about 30 yrs in a barn few months ago. Not the original 235, but has a 235 with a 59 block and 58 head....close enough lol. Everything else seems to be original as far as I can tell. Got it to fire up before I started tearing the engine down. I've been relying on this site for months now since I'm new to this and have had many questions answered by searching the forum. Getting closer to hopefully hear it turn over again soon, then gotta make it stop since the brake pedal is stuck. It's gonna be a long process I can tell, but having fun. Just wanted to say thanx.

Anthony, you are not the only one that would be lost without Stovebolt. I've received more help than one can imagine and I have made some very good friends here. Do not hesitate to jump right in with questions in the forums. I like "varied" comments and discussions as it helps me to arrive at the right decision for my situation.
There are quite a few bolters "down in Fl" so watch for them. You may be closer to some than you think. Also watch as there may be some "gatherings" or GabFest as we like to call them, down your way. Keep an eye on the Southern Bolter Forum and on the events forum.

....did I say Welcome to the Stovebolt! See ya around the garage.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Welcome Anthony, good to hear that she's running. Yes, it is a long process but you'll get there eventually. Good luck.
