bought this 1971 C-10 with Non-Power disc brakes and the front calipers keep locking up after few pumps and will not release. The previous owner put new calipers on it....maybe he was sold calipers WITH power disc? All it takes is maybe pulling it out of the garage and back into the garage...I am near completion of the restoration.

I have never experienced this before and just need a little guidance before I start banging my bald head on the inner fenders.

Please help if you can.

Found it....daaaaaa

The adjustment rod was adjusted way too tight.....man I hate following someone's screw ups....sand this guy paid a shop to adjust it too!!! You should have seen what that shop did to the rear brakes....what a crappy shop!!

Thanks

I don't recall ever seeing an adjustment rod on a disc brake caliper. Are you referring to the pedal to master cylinder rod?
