Does anyone have modern paint codes for the Brewster Green trucks in 1946? I suppose the Black is Black but a correct code would be nice. Lastly, I am interested in the Apple Green for wheels and belt line stripe.

Call PPG Color LIbrary and they might have a formula or a modern offset: try 1-800-647-6050

Dave, You have a very nice and straight '41 pick up. The color is exactly what I am after. My truck, being an early 1947 GMC, and a 1.5 ton, has the wheels painted apple green, the only difference in how your truck is painted and mine. I do assume that the Chevrolet's and GMC's are all painted with the same colors? What are you referring to "Marten Signor Prism #"? Is that a paint code? Is Tim Sheridan a paint shop?

Tim Sheriden is a guy on this site, take a look at his truck, it is REALLY nice. Tim sent me paint codes for PPG I think but I could not get that so he sent me a spray out of his paint. Our local NAPA sells Marten Signor paint, they sent the spray out off to have it analyzed and I now have that mixing code. Prism is there top line of paint.

Hello Again Dave,
Now I know exactly what you used. Is the Prism paint catalyzed enamel? I would certainly like to check your Prism numbers with our local Napa store.

I sent pictures to your private email. I think prism is polyurathane. Catalyzed. Dave

I have another question about proper paint color. What is the interior paint, for the dash door panels and other inside stuff that matches the dash cluster back ground, TAN?
