I haven't actually done any work on my truck in years. I just check in to see what's going on in the greasy spoon.
The folks are friendly and the forums are cleanly run.

I guess i'm a relative newbie here.

Signed up in 2008 and I like to think i'm a #8 on Pauls list but in reality probably nearer a #7 these days.

It's because i've just been far too busy driving/crashing my truck.....honest! grin

I do still check in almost every day though.

I've definately got this truck thing in my blood ... my DNA sequence has torque settings

Don't post much anymore but still check out what's going on here daily. This week it'll be 15 years since I signed up. My how time flies. Still playing with my two trucks but other interests and a lack of time have gotten in the way. I think back to some of the characters that were on in the earlier days, Proffit, Phat, Bullfoot, etc. and wonder where time has gone.

Don't think so Jock. Your member number is 1/2 mine and you've long graduated from newbie status. I was just looking through your flikr and a couple thoughts/questions. Complements on a neat and efficient shop. How were you moving your cab around when it was off the frame? Nice job on the hose reel ( I will be stealing that BTW), and judging from those beautiful outside shots, you must live in the part of Scotland that is near the Spanish Costa Del Sol !!

Glad to hear from you Bob. I thought you fell off the edge of
the earth. Bob's one of the first guys that I met when I
joined in '05 and was a big help over the years.
You gotta post some pictures of your truck. To this day its
one of the nicest and most original restorations that I've
seen. Stop on by and see the mess I've gotten myself into
at the new place if you ever get up around Sandwich.

I've been "around" for a while, but don't post that often. I'm here everyday; trying to soak in all of the wonderful information members like you guys have provided (through searching the forum history) and that you continue to provide.

I'm extremely grateful for all of the generosity of this site. I may not always be working on one of my trucks, but I am usually thinking about them and what to do next and how to do it. And, that brings me here.

Love everyone I've meet related to this site and can't thank John and Peggy enough! Now, back to work!

Will do Denny. Try to get up your way when things warm up around here. Was in a car accident last December and took me half the year to get my shoulder back in shape. It was the first year that I can remember that I didn't get to any car shows or cruise nites.

That's quite an interesting variety in your fleet Victor. If you restored them and are keeping them running, we could learn a lot from you.
