today I took my little girl to the "HELLO KITTY" exhibit that was in town. They actually have "HELLO KITTY" motor oil. I took a picture, but I don't know how to post it. It just struck me as funny.

That's actually pretty common in Japan, having Manga/Anime characters on products that really have little to nothing to do with said product. You should see how some of their race cars are done up.
