Great time with the Stovebolters, many things accomplished under the big top...renewing friendships in person, polishing off of a 3/4 Qt. Ball Jar, Sweet and I in our trucks @ 75 mph side by side headed south on Interstate 81, yard saling w/ Grigg, our fine late night Red-Stovebolter-Jacket-Clad-Executive-Committee-Stand-Up Meeting. Like all who have posted, looking forward to our next get-together. "Space Shuttle, _____ Cotton, ...a swing like..." Had to be there for those gems folks!

Laughed all over again!
You know what they say, what happens in Winchester stays in Winchester...photobomb.
Can't wait to see some of the pictures that John and Joe took. Especially of the Stovebolt Parade of Power
Good times for sure.

John does have some good pictures and cool video. He worked on them as long as he could last night ... I bet he'll finish up and upload tonight, especially if it rains here.

There is another great Stovebolt line-up shot.

It was good to see all your pretty faces - in the photos anyway.

The line up was pretty cool back at camp. The pictures ought to be great.
Peggy, we missed you and thought of you this weekend.
Hope to see you soon.

And I also had a great time. I took a much slower back road trip home. Wet roads, but only about 20 miles of rain.
I forgot what should have been one of my major thank yous because I am not so good on my feet spontaneously. I needed to thank all those brothers who really really like Grigg's ice cream! That was the real reason i bet for my over-the-top award!!And also Grigg for convincing me my old babbit splasher could do it.
Thanks guys!!

Sounds like you guys had another great time....big surprise!!!
I'll just have to skip the bluegrass festival one year so I can be in Winchester.
Rest assured, Stovebolt was represented at the festival with Doughboy!

I've started going through the pictures Joe and I (mostly Joe ... wink ) took with his camera & lenses. There's a lot to go through!

Here's a sneak preview of what's coming. They are huge files and I have to deal with each one individually so it will take some time to get them all downloaded, processed, artsie fartsied up and then reloaded to photobucket. Took about an hour and a half to do the group photo.

BTW, Joe -- The group photo was done with 4 layers (sky and three layers just to get you added in (easier than adding me in -- you had some great black areas behind your head and Larry has some nice straight lines to his sleeve .... ) I was piecing larry back together like Dr Frankenstein ... smile

Enjoy! Hopefully Joaquin will give me time to mess with the others.
