I would luv to drive the "53" down! It's about a 4.5 hour ride at 55 mph. All highway! Conditions have to be just right. Hopefully cooler temps would be nice! the A/C is not up to par?? Power steering is a little sluggish also. Heated seats only work when I have gas!!! With all of that said, I'm up for the adventure. We'll see!

Joe, thanks for that suggestion. I just gave the block and radiator a normal flush, replaced the 180 thermostat with a 160 thermostat. Made the DBAT trip over the blue ridge mountains and back with no problems. I'm declaring victory for now. see you in Winchester.

I was thinking since John was so kind to offer transportation, that he could stop by here on the way and we could load Doughboy on the back of Dempsey. I guess that's out now.

THANK YOU John, I think I'll take you up on that ride. Dempsey has not seen his home show in years. I think he's heavier than all thinks with all that old worn oak bed. So I call dibs on Johns trailer. Hey Everybody!!! Dempseys Coming Back To Winchester!!!! And the Lifeboat, golfcart, and maybe Josh and Ike.

Amtrack Joe, You should bring your '60 F**D! Why? It is an American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) show. We ATHS members will surely welcome your truck. Looking forward to seeing it. V/r, Nick Cavallaro, Bel Air, MD
