Hi all! I've been lurking for a while and thought I would introduce myself and my 47 1 ton panel . I picked her up about a month ago and went to work. She's a pretty solid old truck with no rust, pretty complete, and all original. She was a well logging truck in her previous life. I kitted the carb and got it running but we have a long way to go before we go around the block. Anyway, you have a great group here and I'm sure I'll have a million questions. Les
Hi Les, welcome. That truck looks awesome! It sure does look complete and rust-free. Needless to say, mine was rusted out and some parts were beyond repair. Be sure to ask if you need help, that's what we are here for. Good luck!
Thanks Leo! Your panel is one sweet looking ride! My old girl is fighting me tooth and nail right now. She doesn't want to be brought back to life without a good fight but I'll keep sweet talking her and maybe we can establish some sort of workable relationship. Les
Les, Welcome to the Stovebolt. Yep, Leo has one nice panel. Check out the gallery pictures when you can, check the tech tips and links. Tons of information here and great folks. Hang in there. We're here to help.
and oh, yours looks in such good shape. Mine should have been crushed

Thanks Achipmunk. I took a look at your panel and all I can say is WOW! what an ambitious project! Your workmanship is superb. I was thinking about street rodding mine but she is so complete I can't help but keep her stock. BTW... thanks for the tip! I am the guy that purchased the panel seats from that fellow in Louisville that had them on Craigslist :)
