Stovebolt is pleased to support the Salvation Army! We're doing fine but many around the World are not. Instead of making a contribution to us this holiday season, how about making your contribution to a great organization with a long history of helping people in need around the world?

Since this gets asked so often, I'm going to post the Board Rules here. When you register, you are asked to read and agree to these. (Yes, I know most people don't bother to read them.) I'm also going to make this a sticky post, so hopefully it will ameliorate me having to answer the question repeatedly. Please remember - the Stovebolt site is a purely volunteer operation. Registrations are usually approved within 24 hours but it may take longer at times. Thank you for your patience.
When you register, you will immediately receive an email with a link in it. You MUST click on that link to verify your registration before it can be approved. If you do not do so, your registration will be automatically deleted after 24 hours. If you don't get it, check your spam folder.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow advertising on the Stovebolt Forum except in the Swap Meet. If you advertise in other forums, you will be banned permanently, no exceptions.
If you lie about your location or you fill in bogus information your registration will be declined. If you spam the boards after approval, you will be banned permanently.
Once you've been approved, your posts will be moderated until we're satisfied you're not a spammer. During that time you cannot create a signature or use the PM function. Spammers have used both to pester our members. You also will not be able to view our members' profiles.

Karen, welcome to the Stovebolt Page. Tiny is correct about what is going on. After 4 post you will be able to send PM's and such. I see you live in Rapid City. There are other bolters here from there, Box Elder and a few other places. I'm sure you'll see them.
Say, what are you doing to the GMC? Is it on the road?

Jimmy, the fastest way to get approved is to post.....maybe a couple questions in the forums. Your at 2 I think so 2 or 3 more and your set to go.....we all have to go through this to keep out unwanted persons like spammer's. If your active it don't take long to make 4 or 5 post

Carl, my 7th grade math teacher, Ms. Rose, (who had a beautiful brand spanking new '58 BelAir that was robin's egg blue) had a banner right above the chalkboard that read, "The only stupid question is the one you don't ask".
PM stands for Private Message. Once you've had four posts approved, you can send private messages to other members. Sometimes they do it to buy or sell parts. Sometimes they do it to gossip about other members. Sometimes they do it to plan a meetup.
