Stovebolt is pleased to support the Salvation Army! We're doing fine but many around the World are not. Instead of making a contribution to us this holiday season, how about making your contribution to a great organization with a long history of helping people in need around the world?

Thanks for the helpful information regarding getting PM active; I've had similar questions. How are the underlined links in various posts added? Greg - 29 1 1/2 Ton

29Maybe, post your question in the IT Short Bus forum. You will get a quick answer there.

Karen,
I'm new, but been here a while. I would have PM'ed this question, but, well... Request feedback if there's something else I need to do before I can PM.
Thanks, Pepe

Stovebolt is set up so that new members are "moderated" for their first few post. This is a hedge against spammers and other unwanted visitors. After you have made, and been moderated, for 4 post you may then send a PM to someone and it will also open up access to a couple other things.
....the only way you accomplish this is by posting. I'd suggest posting questions you may have in the appropriate forum, such as engine questions in Engine Forum, transmission questions in the Driveline Forum. Not here in the welcome center but in the forums. That's where the technical stuff is answered the fastest.

Hello all. I had th same question after registration. Thanks for informing me about the rules on this. I have been struggling with how to ask a question about my 1951 GMC 100-22 228 pickup and I can't figure out how or where to go on the board to post a question? I guess I'm too old to navigate these things. Still trying to figure out how to get help via posting a question. Anybody got any ideas for this old GMC guy?

Dave On the home page of the Forum, there is a Stovebolt Manual pictured on the right (and a flashing arrow pointing to it.) http://www.stovebolt.com/forum/manual/That contains all the information you need in order to use the Forum (how to post, how to edit, etc., etc.) Click on that and read it, and you'll be good to go.
