According to the Shop Manual, it is 10" for 1/2 through 1 1/2 ton for both 6 and V8.

There were lots of options on clutch sizes. You have to measure it to be sure.

I recently replaced a clutch on what appears to be an original 55-2 with a V-8. It was an 11" unit. I wouldn't buy any parts until I removed it to be sure.

I also have a 265 and it depends if it is a truck or a car motor the flywheel is different sizes found out mine is out of a Belair and it is smaller then a truck

I have had a few '57 3100's with 265/4 speeds, all are org and all had 11" clutchs. For what it's worth.

Finally pulled clutch out 11 inch 10 spline worn out that much springs on clutch plate were rubbing on flywheel bolts
